A grand occasion indeed! This was the first meeting of our Pupil Parliment where DLP children had a brilliant day discussing E Safety with Ellen Weedon.
This is a really important topic and it was great to see how engaged the children were and how hard they worked.
This was a super event - a huge well done to everyone involved
We're so proud of all the children who took part in the DLP Schools Choir.
We think they are all absolutely fantastic - we hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it

CAN YOU HELP?
Dovestone Learning Partnership would like to have some community representatives on their Trust Board. The DLP is a Co-operative Trust which was established in October 2017 and is currently a partnership of 9 schools.
This Board meets three times a year and joining would mean becoming a trustee of the partnership. Your role would be to represent the Saddleworth and Lees community, asking questions and making comments and suggestions for the work we do.

Greenfield St Mary's C.E on Manchester Road are hosting a family fun day on Saturday 1st July and they need some help!
Could you donate any tombola prizes? They would be exceptionally grateful for any bottles of wine, toiletry sets (unwanted gifts??) or chocolates and sweets.

Saddleworth School is to host their first car boot sale at the new site in Diggle on Saturday 17th June.
At just £15 per car, it's a great opportunity to have a clear out, swapping your clutter and unwanted items for cash.
Or come along and grab a bargain.
The sale organised by Friends of Saddleworth School (FOSS) is to raise funds for the students to enjoy some extra curricular activities at lunchtime during the lovely summer months. So you can come along and grab a bargain, or sell on your unwanted items and know that you are also helping local students.
