Dovestone Learning Partnership

A grand occasion indeed! This was the first meeting of our Pupil Parliment where DLP children had a brilliant day discussing E Safety with Ellen Weedon.

This is a really important topic and it was great to see how engaged the children were and how hard they worked.

This was a super event - a huge well done to everyone involved

We're so proud of all the children who took part in the DLP Schools Choir.

We think they are all absolutely fantastic - we hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it

Merry Christmas!

CAN YOU HELP?

Dovestone Learning Partnership would like to have some community representatives on their Trust Board. The DLP is a Co-operative Trust which was established in October 2017 and is currently a partnership of 9 schools.

This Board meets three times a year and joining would mean becoming a trustee of the partnership. Your role would be to represent the Saddleworth and Lees community, asking questions and making comments and suggestions for the work we do.

No experience is necessary, but having an interest in the local community would be an advantage. If you are interested please email [email protected] or telephone 07515257389 for a no obligation chat. We would love to hear from you.

Greenfield St Mary's C.E on Manchester Road are hosting a family fun day on Saturday 1st July and they need some help!

Could you donate any tombola prizes? They would be exceptionally grateful for any bottles of wine, toiletry sets (unwanted gifts??) or chocolates and sweets.

Or if you have time to spare and would like to get involved on the day, that would be amazing!

Contact the school for more information https://www.greenfieldstmary.oldham.sch.uk/

Delph Primary school has vacancies for a school governor.

If you have…

The ability to form effective working relationships with fellow governors and staff
The ability to enquire, scrutinise, challenge and actively support the work of the senior staff of the school
The desire to work hard as a volunteer for the benefit of the children, families and staff
The ability to look at issues objectively
The confidence to ask questions and join in debate
The willingness to listen and make informed judgments
Willingness to act honestly, openly and with integrity

Then you could be the person that we need!

You don't have to have children in the school to be a governor.

To find out more, visit https://www.oldham.gov.uk/schoolgovernors, or contact Delph Primary directly https://delphprimary.co.uk/
