Teddies Day Nursery

This week the babies have been exploring different textures using sensory bags they have been using their fine motor skills to explore the different textures.

This week the babies have been interested in the nursery rhymes old McDonald's had a farm we have been using our imagination skills and dressing up like the animals from the farm and making the noise the animals make

The preschoolers and toddlers have been down on the big field. We have been confident communicatiors and logical learners and learning about bugs and their environments. We used our gross motor skills to dig up with soil using different garden equipment. We used words such as "dig, brush, pull"we also found ladybirds and spiders and we talked about where they come from and looked at the different colours

Today preschool have been talking about the importance of sun safety and keeping cool in the heat. Preschoolers have found their own sunscreen and sun hats. Also preschool have been rubbing in their own sunscreen with staff help practicing ready for school.

This week the Babies have been interested in reading books and the different pictures and new words with some babies pointing and engaging in the story and repeat some single words
