LISA BARNES | Meet Lisa Barnes - Trainer of NLP.

This is quite a funny story. Me and Lisa met at a networking event. She thought she was speaking to someone else and I thought I was speaking to another Lisa!

She came to the studio for a coffee the day and after and šŸ’„ the rest is history. She signed up to NLP Practitioner there and then in May 2025. Progressed to Master Practitioner January and February this year and now September 2026 to Trainer of NLP.

Lisa beforehand had a successful recruitment business which she went onto sell before falling into NLP. She got a wealth of business and corporate knowledge and this is where sheā€™ll be taking her skills in a training and coaching capacity.

After her Master Practitioner training she started Future Perspective Coaching and I know the infinite opportunities that are awaiting her are endless.

LOVE | ā€œI am loveā€ is one of the biggest declarations they will ever make for themselves.

Not because it sounds beautiful because this declaration asks them to come HOME to who they really are.

ā€œMake Your Haus Your Homeā€ is the vision of the Haus of NLP Artistry.

This is what Iā€™ve encouraged, challenged and supported the student NLP trainers to do for the last 18 days.

To make the declaration.

To stop performing for others or using proving energy as motivation and to stop hiding the parts of themselves they were once told were too much, too soft, too bold, too emotional, too powerful.

Because ā€œI am loveā€ means they lead from truth.

It means they allow themselves to be fully expressed and meet themselves with both tenderness and power.

It means they no longer need to become someone else in order to be worthy.

And maybe that is one of the bravest things they will ever doā€¦

To remember they were never here to become worthy.

They were here to remember.

I am love.

KNOWING | Forget the grades for the moment today I witnessed beauty. A moment. A moment Iā€™ll never ever forget.

I saw the students see themselves.
I heard the students hear themselves.
I felt the students feel themselves.

Not me. Them.

They done the hard work, gruelling, one of them has described it as, in the most expansive and transformative way.

They said yes.

They committed.

They made it happen.

They have put their heart into it.

They have demonstrated dedication, commitment, courage, bravery, love, joy, laughter over and over again.

Today, has changed EVERYTHING.

They have finally SEEN, HEARD & FELT themselves.

Theyā€™ve been initiated into the KNOWING.

EVIDENCE | You want the evidence first. The leap is what creates the evidence.

Three years ago, I took on this studio with a vision bigger than what was in front of me.

At the time, there was no proof, no guarantees, no finished picture I just had a feeling, a knowing that I couldnā€™t ignore and made the decision to back myself anyway.

I heard. Itā€™s a risk. Thatā€™s a big commitment. Can you really make it happen? From THEM not ME.

The ā€œMmmmsā€, eyeball rolls, those that just couldnā€™t step out of their model of the world to see my VISION.

And that was the answer. This is MY vision not yours.

So I did it anyway!!!

What youā€™re seeing now didnā€™t begin with CERTAINTY.

It began with a LEAP.

A leap that included trusting the pull before I had the EVIDENCE.

Saying YES before I knew exactly HOW.

If youā€™re waiting until you feel fully ready, fully confident, or fully ā€œqualified,ā€ this is your reminder that the evidence often comes after the decision.

ONE YEAR AGO | I became a Master Trainer of NLP.

I missed the exact anniversary at the end of May and honestly, that feels fitting for what this year has been about.

I thought qualifying would feel loud. Big. Electric. Euphoric.

Of course I was so proud of myself. Most NLP Trainers never star their master program, many donā€™t finish and only the finest complete. I was so excited about the year ahead. I thought I had it all mapped out in my head.

Whatā€™s unfolded over the last year was something very different, profound and much DEEPER.

Deeper than anything Iā€™ve experienced. Itā€™s not all been pretty and some of it has been challenging, raw and heart-opening.

This year has taught me that mastery, for me, is not about performance or title. Itā€™s been another true lesson of the UNBECOMING, I talk of this often.

Iā€™ve shed layers of identity. Iā€™ve grieved versions of me as seasons have thrown new experiences as I embraced being a master in not just business in life too.

Itā€™s not been about arriving in a blaze of certainty.

It has been about slowing down, building foundations, reconnecting to myself, questioning the expected path, honouring my own direction and learning what it means to truly stand in my work.

I feel more connected to who I am, what Iā€™m here for and the way I want to lead than ever before.

So maybe this first year of ā€œmasteryā€ wasnā€™t about doing mastery at all.

Maybe it was about learning to BE a master.

And that feels like the real milestone.

A quiet one.
A grounded one.
A true one.

This is also the beginning of a new chapter for me and Iā€™ll be slowly sharing more of that here so stay tuned šŸ¤
