🌟BUILDING VOCABULARY BOOSTER COURSE!! (KS2)🌟

My Vocabulary Booster Course focuses on building and extending your child's knowledge and understanding of words, using a variety of strategies, including fun games and targeted practical activities.☑ Developing their 'word power' will support children in the four key areas of English (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and hopefully spark a love of words too!😊💟

Course content will vary according to age and ability level, but topics can include:

🔸 Word of the Day!🌟
🔸 Synonyms & Antonyms
🔸 Shades of Meaning
🔸 Word Classes
🔸 Onomatopoeia
🔸 Idioms
🔸 Verbal Reasoning
- to name a few!😄

The 6️⃣ week 1-1 course is charged at £100 for six weekly 45min sessions. If you're interested in booking a course for your child, or have any questions, please get in touch!

This game has always proved a firm favourite with my learners!😄 Here, we're using it to practise the 6️⃣times table!🌟

How to play -
🔹Players take turns to draw a lolly stick from the pot and answer the question displayed. If correct, they keep the stick. If incorrect, the stick goes back into the pot.
🔹If a player draws KABOOM! then ALL their collected sticks go back into the pot, leaving the player to start over!😟
🔹Set a timer⏱ (we used 5 mins), and the winner is the player with the most sticks when the time is up!🏆

A great way to practise and such a lot of fun!😄
