Alder Day Nursery

This week children have been looking at think equal in this session we have been looking at how we all have different faces and that there is only one of them. The children then have made a face selecting what they want on their face. We have also been looking at size difference using ducks and cylinders then filling with water the children used words like more full big empty small while playing with the ducks we sand the 5 little ducks went swimming one day.
Some of the children have been interested in people that help us such as nurse so we made a babies hospital and the children got to use real equipment such as stethoscope and bandages. I do hope the babies feel better soon.

Good luck to all our leavers getting ready for new adventures in reception.we are looking forward to seeing you all in your uniform.

A day at the farm with our families and children. Children saw goats,donkeys,horses,pigs,rats,tortoise,rabbits,alpacas,
Children could tell us some of the animal names and sounds how they move. Parents were surprised at how much infomation the children could say and talk about. Staff and children had racing games on the quad bikes. And the children ran some more energy off in the great big park.
