🐮🐷🐔 Old MacDonald Had a Farm! 🌾🎶

Our little ones had lots of fun with our Old MacDonald dress-up activity! 🥰 The babies enjoyed exploring different farm animals through dressing up, sensory play, sounds and songs.

From sheep to pigs and chickens, our little farmers had a wonderful time discovering the world of the farm while developing their communication, sensory awareness, imagination and social skills through play. 🌈✨

There were lots of smiles, giggles and plenty of “E-I-E-I-O!” 🎶💛

🍂🌿 Autumn Adventures at Preschool! 🧪✨

We’ve been making the most of the beautiful autumn season with some wonderful hands-on activities!

🌿 Nature Bracelets – The children explored our outdoor space, collecting autumn treasures such as leaves, petals and tiny natural treasures to create their very own nature bracelets. A lovely way to encourage curiosity, creativity and appreciation for the world around us. 🍁

🧪 Autumn Potion Making – Our little scientists got busy mixing, pouring and stirring their own magical autumn potions! Using conkers, acorns, water and other natural materials, the children experimented with textures and smells while using their imaginations to create some very special brews. ✨🍂

There was lots of exploring, investigating, chatting and, of course, plenty of messy fun! 💛

🌱 Sustainability in our setting 🌍

We believe that caring for our planet starts with the little things—and our children are learning this every day through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

From exploring nature and caring for plants and wildlife, to reusing and recycling materials, saving energy and learning to look after our environment, sustainability is woven naturally into our everyday routines and play.

💚 We encourage our children to be curious, responsible and respectful of the world around them, helping them understand that even small actions can make a difference.

🌿 Growing little minds while nurturing a greener future.

💕🥳 Well done to our staff of the month award winners for September. 💕🥳

🌿🏆 Green Flag Award – Achieving Distinction in Sustainability! 🌱
We’re incredibly proud to celebrate achieving a Distinction in Sustainability as part of the Green Flag Award! 🎉
As part of this achievement, we also completed the sustainability assessment as not just Oberlin street but as MiChild as a whole, demonstrating our commitment to embedding sustainable practices across our organisation and making a positive difference to the environment. 🌍💚
This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of everyone involved in caring for our green spaces and creating greener, healthier and more sustainable environments for everyone to enjoy.
A huge thank you to our fantastic team, parents and children for helping us achieve this fantastic recognition. 👏🌳
A brilliant achievement and a great reflection of our ongoing commitment to sustainability! 💚
