Splish, splash, and lots of laughs! 💦☀️ Our little water babies had the best time cooling off with pool fun and water play this week. Nothing beats smiles, sunshine, and making a splash with friends! 🌈🩵

🌡️ With temperatures soaring, now feels like a good time for a reminder about adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs).

Heat can exacerbate allergic reactions and, in some cases, make them more severe. That's why it's important to make sure your auto-injectors are stored correctly, especially during warmer weather.

✅ Keep AAIs below 25°C
✅ Keep them with you
❌ Don't leave them in a hot car
❌ Don't store them in direct sunlight

If your AAI is kept in a childcare setting, school, workplace, or other shared environment, the same storage rules apply. Check that medical cabinets and storage areas remain cool and protected from heat.

It's also important to regularly inspect your auto-injectors. The liquid inside should be clear. If it appears discoloured, tinted, cloudy, or frosty, arrange for a replacement immediately, as the medication may not be as effective when needed.

A quick check today could make all the difference tomorrow. 💛

Our calming corner in the nurture room 🌿

The calming corner/room has a sofa, reading books, teddies, puppets, cusions, and a range of emotion resources to help and support children.

This is the room we also hang children's family photos in.

The lights get turned down for a cosy feel, and children are learning how to be calm and quiet whilst making the most of the space.
