Pyjama Day is Coming!

Our fabulous School Council have been busy coming up with fun fundraising ideas, and after chatting with children across the school, one thing was clear… everyone LOVES a Pyjama Day!

So, get ready to swap your uniform for your snuggliest pyjamas, comfiest slippers, and maybe even your favourite dressing gown! It’s time to relax, laugh, and enjoy a day of fun.

We’ll have themed activities, a cosy lunchtime menu, and lots of opportunities to make this a day to remember, all while raising money for a great cause.

Let’s make it the comfiest school day ever!

We are open and looking forward to seeing you all today .

Dear parents and carers,

I hope you are all safe and well.

As you know, school was closed on Friday due to the heavy snowfall and unsafe travel conditions. Today (Sunday), the main roads are mostly clear and traffic is moving, but many side roads and footpaths remain icy.

The current forecast suggests that rising temperatures and expected rainfall should help to improve conditions. I will continue to monitor the weather closely later today and again early tomorrow morning before making a final decision about whether school will open.

Any decision will be made with guidance from the local authority, local weather updates, and in consultation with other local headteachers. The safety of pupils, families, and staff will remain the priority.

I will update you as early as possible tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Warm regards,
Mrs. T Flanagan

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Remell Robinson-Bailey, a professional Great Britain gymnast, will be visiting Causeway Green Primary School on Monday, 2nd February 2026 as part of our partnership with Sports for Champions UK.

This visit is so much more than just a fun event—it’s an opportunity to inspire dreams, build resilience, and show our children first-hand what dedication and belief can achieve. Meeting a young athlete like Remell—someone who has faced challenges, worked tirelessly, and represented our country at the highest level—can truly transform the way children see themselves and what they’re capable of.

During his visit, pupils will take part in an exciting fitness circuit and a motivational assembly, complete with a medal display and Q&A session. The aim is to encourage healthy lifestyles, perseverance, and ambition—values we hold dear at Causeway Green.

We are proud to have already made the news with this exciting project—our story was recently featured in the Halesowen News!

To make this event possible, we are launching a fundraising appeal to support both our school’s sports and enrichment budget and the Sports for Champions athlete fund. Every penny raised will make a real difference—60% will go directly back into sports opportunities and equipment for our children, while 40% will help athletes like Remell continue their journey towards excellence.

We’d love for everyone—parents, guardians, grandparents, and local businesses—to get involved. Every contribution, big or small, helps us create lasting memories and nurture the champions of tomorrow.

Together, let’s make this visit one to remember—and show our pupils that with hard work, heart, and belief, anything is possible!
