We are at the Welcome Week Fayre today 🎉come and say hi to us 😊

Hey guys! We will have an AGM on this Thursday, 28th of March where we will review our year together and vote for the next year’s committee members! So come help us decide what the society will look like in the academic year 2024/25! 🥲 please 💀 we will meet at 6pm in lecture hall number 7 in the New King’s building on campus. AFTERWARDS we will go for some nice drinks and chat to Archiebald’s on Union street! 🥳

It’s that time of the year when we try to recruit new committee members! If you would like to be on the committee of our great society and organise some great events, send us your photo and some info about yourself! Open positions:

We will watch the Sunrise from the Aberdeen Beach (down the stairs from Beach Ballroom) on Sunday morning, 18th of Feburary (Tomorrow) from 7am

On Monday 12th of February, we will host our social rep’s dream event: Games and Crafts Afternoon! 🎉 We will spend quality time together playing fun board games, and more importantly, painting socks! 💘 Makes for a great Valentine’s present... just saying... Or if you’re sad and lonely (like our social rep) nothing will make your day like a pair of fun socks! 🧦 Or the idea of all the frustration and discomfort you can cause to people when you get them in such a debt in Monopoly that they will flip over the table and declare a life-long enmity. 💀 Honestly. What can be more fun? 😇

Another year, another occasion to celebrate International Students' Day, the Velvet revolution and overthrowing the communist regime in Czechoslovakia! ✌️🇸🇰+🇨🇿

And for the students wanting to celebrate it in style we have an invitation to the Czech Embassy in London! A reception and a concert are held on November 15th from 5:30pm at the embassy. 🎊The only thing you need to do is register on the email below.

A little bit non-conventional event for our society! We would like to invite you to watch the sunrise with us! Aberdeen Beach Sunrises can get magical but because they are very unpredictable and weather-dependant, rather than a set date, we will post a story or FB feed 1-2 days prior to the watch 😋 We'll be bringing blankets, breakfast snacks and hot drinks but as always, it is reccomended that you bring your own too (at least a mug). 👀
