🎓👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓 Congratulations to all of our students that have received either Level 3 or Level 2 results in the past couple of weeks. This time is always mixture of excitement for you and sadness that we have to say goodbye. Thank you for all of your hard work, laughter and creativity over the past 5 or 7 years, it has been a pleasure.

Happy holidays! For us it always means having a tidy up and clear out of unused items. If that applies to any of our students frantically saving money for their upcoming trips and activities, there is an opportunity to make some money at the PTFA’s Car boot sale Sunday 16th.

Mrs T was blown away by the musicianship of the cast and band in this show. If you are in London, it’s well worth a visit if you are a Sinatra fan. Theatre direct have some good deals on tickets.

Bandamonium Devon 5 is proud to announce an exclusive media partnership with Next Step Films. On Saturday 25th July, music lovers across the globe will be able to experience the energy and talent of the festival live and in high definition via the NXTOD media platform.

Reflecting Bandamonium’s core ethos of being a "free to all" community celebration, the live stream will be provided completely free of charge to all viewers. This accessible digital experience is made possible thanks to generous funding from Arts Council England, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from enjoying this unique event.

The ambitious broadcast schedule covers 30 brass bands performing across two locations. Streaming begins at 11:00am and continues throughout the day, culminating in a spectacular massed band event in the evening.

🇫🇷✨As we wrap up this year’s tour, we could not be prouder of our students, their growth, their courage, and the way they consistently rose to every challenge with heart and determination was humbling. Yes, like any adventure, we had a few bumps along the way, but their willingness to stay calm when plans changed, to work on themselves and their resilience, support one another, and bring their absolute best was nothing short of inspiring.

From the moment we stepped into the beautiful city, Paris worked its magic. Students stood in awe beneath the iconic Eiffel Tower, wandered the grand halls of the Louvre, soaked in the majesty of Notre-Dame and Versailles and watched the world go by along the Champs-Élysées. They marvelled at the artistry of Montmartre, the elegance of the Opéra Garnier, and the sheer beauty of the Seine at sunset.

And then came the performances—two incredible live concerts where our students shone with confidence, teamwork and joy. Their music filled Parisian spaces with energy, pride, and a sense of community that will stay with us forever.

We also had a full, magical day at Disneyland Paris. We enjoyed rides, parades, laughter, and pure wonder. The kind of day that reminds you how fun it is to be part of something big, bright, and full of imagination.

Our journey home was its own epic chapter: awards celebrating personal triumphs, games that had everyone laughing, and a silent disco through the Euro Tunnel that turned a long travel day into a memory we’ll talk about for years.

To our incredible students, thank you for your spirit, your resilience, your fun and your willingness to grow. To our staff (Mr Mercer, Miss Arden-Trew, Miss Janyk, Mrs Littlewood-Cope and MrsTeixeira) thank you for working tirelessly to provide guidance, safety, care and support to our students, and families, thank you for your trust and support. To our coach driver ‘Manny’ West Yorkshire Travel, thank you for delivering us there and back safely and with care.
