Come along and start your 'Creative Journey'...Small groups, plenty of individual teaching, and plenty of cake! There will be like minded creatives to chat and gain inspiration from. Lots of demonstrations and extra (optional) homework tasks to do at your own pace .
Through gentle teaching, you will be creating small studies and experimental squares as a starting point, which will enable you to create your own beautiful artwork without feeling overwhelmed.
The Creative Journey course is as follows:
Week 1: Watercolour pencils/wash and fine-liners
Week 2: Oil Pastels
Week 3: Acrylics
Week 4: Acrylic Inks
Week 5: Mixed Media
Week 6: Mixed Media and collage
Week by week, you will build up a knowledge of the formal elements running alongside learning how to use these materials, (line, tone, colour, mark making, perspective, scale and proportion etc) and some lessons will inform the next lesson, so your knowledge will build up week by week. Many of the materials can be used together in week 5 for mixed media too. I will also provide extension tasks to do at home over the week or to do at your leisure after the course has finished. I will be demonstrating plenty throughout.
