Things to remember at Halloween π
The child who is grabbing at and taking more than one sweet, may have poor motor skills, or may not understand
The person who looks βtoo oldβ to be trick or treating may have a learning disability
The child who doesnβt take anything from the trick or treat bowl may have an allergy
The child who doesnβt say trick or treat may be non verbal
The child who isnβt in a costume may be autistic or have sensory processing disorder and not like the feel of the costume
Be patient, make it fun and be kind
