Katy's Kids

Katy's Kids I am a registered childminder with thirteen years experience in childcare plus three children of my own. My last inspection in 2017 graded me as Excellent.

I work term time only. I have been a registered childminder since 2007. I am able to care for a maximum three children under school age, six children in total. I am open term time only and do not charge for spaces being kept during the school holidays. I have a large conservatory for the children to play in which opens onto a secure garden area that has plenty of space to run about and make use of

the range of outdoor toys that I have. The conservatory is part of the open plan kitchen and dining area so even when I am making lunch I can constantly see and hear what the children are doing. The roads beside me are quiet and easy for the children to walk along. We can visit Loch Nell to look for birds on the water and play on the small beach area or we can go up the glen to look for cows and sheep in the fields. There are also occasionally unused fields beside the house where the children have a huge amount of space to run about, hills to climb and a bit of river to play in.
