You don't need to be an experienced permaculture designer to begin thinking like one.
That's increasingly what I want my Introduction to Permaculture to offer: not simply information about permaculture, but the opportunity to practise observing, connecting, questioning, experimenting and learning from what happens.
The course is now accompanied by an 83-page Reflection Journal, and together they've become a much more substantial learning experience than I'd originally envisaged. (Hooray for pumpkins. 🤣)

Harvest to plate in under 30 seconds 🌱🥗

Today's salad came mostly from a hanging basket just outside my kitchen door.

Growing food doesn't always need a vegetable garden, lots of space or even much effort. Sometimes good design is simply putting the things you use where they're easiest to reach.

A simple drive through the countryside can become an exploration.

Today I've been out with my elderly parents, travelling through landscapes we've known for years — and still finding things worth noticing.
