Are you a level 3 practitioner looking to join a well established team of professionals? Look no further!
The Ark Association are looking for someone to help out with our lunchtime cover over the school holidays at our Princess Avenue site. The hours would be 11.30-1.30 and could be from 1 or 2 days per week to 5 days per week.
This could be on an ongoing basis each school holidays or on a casual ad hoc basis. You do not need any qualifications and food hygiene training would be given. The cost of a DBS check would be covered by ourselves and 2 references would also be required.
We would consider students over the age of 16 who are either looking for some summer work or who would like to see if working within a childcare setting is for you.
Duties would include; setting tables for lunchtime, supervising children alongside other staff and clearning up following lunch. Our holiday club lunches are predominantly lunchboxes only.
You must have a friendly nature, have great communication with children and have an awareness of the importance of ensuring children's safety whilst eating.

We are still on the look out for someone fantastic to join our committee to take on the role of secretary. This is a voluntary role that is vital to the running of The Ark! This isn't as scary as it sounds! We only meet 3 times a year, usually via teams for around 1.5 hours and our secretary is simply needed to take minutes during the meeting, type them up and send them to the other 5 committee members. It's as simple as that but super important to the running of The Ark. If you are at all interested or would like to chat about the role please email [email protected]
