I’ve just about recovered from my student Christmas Show and what a wonderful night it was! A cosy venue we filled with twinkling lights, an hour of amazing performances by my students who have worked so hard and the most friendly and supportive atmosphere I could imagine, all finished off with a festive sing-along, mince pies and biscuits!



A huge thank you to everyone helped on the night with set up, sound, photos, refreshments and clearing away afterwards. And a massive well done to all the incredible performers who made me so so proud (which is written all over my face in the last photo!)

Another great Summer Student Show is over. It was lovely to be back and celebrate the hard work of all our amazing students! I’m so proud of every single person that faced their nerves and got up there to showcase what they can do!



No rest today though… a full day of lessons and another show 🎹 🎵 🎤 🎶

I always try and buy colourful instrument leads. It’s easier to work out which ones are mine in a band situation where there’s leads everywhere! Plus also easier to trace what is going in on what channel to the mixing desk! …

Plus they look cool, which is obviously the most important thing! 😂 🌈 🎵

🌟🎵 What a show! What a team! 🎵🌟

Last night was the Rutland Musicians Collective Christmas student concert and what an unbelievable night it was, once again!

After months of planning, organising, teaching, rehearsing and coffee drinking, the hard work paid off! We are so proud of all our students who got up to perform; overcoming nerves and wowing us with their performances!

I’m so happy I get to work with the dream team of music teachers and I’m also so grateful to the helpers we had on the night with sound, refreshments and first aid (not that it was needed luckily!) It’s a huge team effort to put a show together and everyone is awesome! 🤩

Now excuse me whilst I spend the weekend recovering 🤪
