Yes, it’s official, a pack of Mamils have been at the barn…

If you're not familiar with the term, it an acronym for ‘middle-aged men in lycra’ 🤣 but fortunately, most of them attended their end-of-season cycling bash less-the-lycra (not visible anyway)!

We thought it’d be nice to share some of the lovely comments received - thank you all, we really enjoyed hosting you.

Festive hours for the café...

Last few spots available for this Thursday (12th December) for these fabulous luxury wreath-making workshops with the talented Harriet from The Lincolnshire Flower Company, held here at the barn.

All materials included, as well as 2-hours of expert tips and tuition from Harriet to guide you as you craft.

Ticket price includes a light lunch in the cafe for the 12-2pm workshop or a glass of fizz and festive nibbles for the evening workshop (6-8pm).

These wreaths will not only last but so will what you learn; helping you to craft unique creations long after the workshop is over.
Bring a friend, mummy, daughter, co-worker, or come on your own. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience necessary.

Harriet (who's wreath workshops sell out year-after-year), will expertly guide you through a two-hour workshop, sharing her toolkit of techniques and tips to help you create your show-stopping wreath.

A little bit colder out there tonight compared to the aurora show back in May but how stunningly vivid! Managed to capture this just before the colours softened. Oh, and the owls were also being as noisy as normal - great to hear - although they were probably saying to each other that we missed the best of it...

Picks Barn under the Aurora Borealis. The geomagnetic readings were higher 2-3 hours before this photo was taken, but it was still very special to see the lights!. Oh, and the owls were making sooo much noise down there, which was lovely to hear and made the experience even more surreal!
