Another Sports Day done and dusted! 🥇🥈🥉

As always, the children showed fantastic perseverance, team spirit and respect, in both the morning round-robin and afternoon races.

Thank you to the PFA for providing us with medals, ice lollies, and a brilliant BBQ. 😊

Well done to Yellow Team, who clinched the title for the second year running! 🏆

🌞 Weather Warning 🌞

Due to the amber weather warning, children may come into school in their PE kits this week. Please make sure they have a water bottle.

During the hottest weather, we will be keeping the children inside during breaks to keep them cool. We advise that they still wear suncream and bring sun hats for any outdoor time they do have.

Last week, Badger Class took part in a football morning to celebrate the start of the World Cup. The children represented Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands and England and took part in a range of matches and challenges to earn points.

We were all very sad when, last week, we had to relinquish the lovely, shiny trophy we won at the Pioneer Football Tournament last year. Fortunately, this fantastic group of children came back today with an even lovelier, shinier trophy for us to put in our trophy cabinet!!! 😍🤩

They absolutely smashed the tournament this morning, winning all their matches without conceding any goals! Extra congrats to Charlie for being awarded 'Player of the Tournament' and Max and Noah for being joint top goal scorers!

We always love having the opportunity to take part in a competition where we can demonstrate our skill, but also our teamwork and perseverance.

Thank you to everyone who provided lifts, and to the parents who stayed in the rain to support/coach! We appreciate you all!

A few weeks ago, children from Y3/4 had the opportunity to attend the dance festival held by Uckfield College. They learnt and performed a whole dance in an hour and a half!

We had an unbelievable time and hopefully the photos show how incredible the children were! :) We would also like to say a massive thank you to our incredible team leader, Ethan, who kept everyone's energy up, ran all our evening activities, taught us loads of songs, and made sure we made it to our meals on time!!
