A huge THANK YOU to our amazing parents, staff, governors, and the wider community for pulling together and working so hard to help create such a special day at today’s Nunney Street Fayre! 💚

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised a good amount of money for the school - every penny will go towards enriching the experiences and opportunities we can offer our children.

A special thank you to Tanya, the Nunney Community Association (NCA), and everyone who visited our stall - your time, energy and generosity made all the difference.

We’re so proud to be part of such a caring, committed community. 🌟

Another busy week so far!
On Monday we enjoyed a whole school gallery exhibition, showcasing all the creations from Arts Week.

This morning we had a wonderful leavers assembly with the Year Fours sharing an A-Z of memories, songs poetry and lovely descriptions of each child. They were all fantastic and afterwards got to enjoy a water fight!

This afternoon was full of surprises for Mrs Andrews as we celebrated her 36 1/2 years of service as an HLTA at Nunney School! We held a very special assembly, an outside gathering to sing and unveil the new building name then surprised her with a beach party for family, friends and past pupils/staff to enjoy! A truly special occasion for a wonderful woman. No words can express our gratitude for all she has done for Nunney School.

We have one more day to go and will be enjoying some whole school activities.

Day 2 of our Creative Arts Week.
We had Martin Kolarides (Robyn's Dad) in with his electric guitar. He showed each class how to play and what to use to make the sound louder (lots want an amp now 😆 🤣).
Each class chose a theme, then made up verses and a chorus while Martin set them to a tune. The children then performed their song. A fab morning of music had by all. Thank you Martin. 👏 👏 👏
In assembly we had Amanda Sheridan one of our amazing Governors, who talked to us about being an Art Curator. All the children were fascinated by her talk. Thank you Amanda. 👏 👏 👏

What an amazing start to our Creative Arts Week. Our theme is local people, local area.
We have been drawing and painting different members of staff. Plus making sounds out of cups and string.
Then to finish off the day we had The Bathampton Morris Dancers in.
They spoke about how it all came about and demonstrated some dances. We haven't heard so many bells in our hall since Christmas.
We then went out into the playground where we got to join in with them
A thoroughly enjoyable experience for us all.

WOW!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped before, during and afterwards at the Fete. It was such an amazing afternoon of games, refreshments and pure fun.
