This week is Child Safety Week 2026, with this year's theme "Making Prevention Possible."

The Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (WSCP) is supporting the campaign by promoting resources from the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT).

CAPT provides a wide range of practical, evidence-based resources to help professionals and families prevent accidents and keep children safe, covering key themes such as burns, choking, drowning, and preventing harm at home.

We have shared some of CAPT's informative leaflets for everyone to take a look at. By increasing our awareness and understanding of everyday risks, we can all play a part in keeping children as safe as possible.

Global Day of Parents!

We have had a fantastic morning exploring a variety of activities and spending time with everyone, and we are excited to be setting up again for this afternoons event too!

I’m sure you have all been hearing about the ‘incredible eggs’ we have at nursery from the children! 🐣

This time, we are teaching the children all about the life cycle of ducks. Over the past few days, they have been fascinated watching the eggs sitting in the incubator, eagerly waiting and checking for any changes.
We are so excited to share that the wait is finally over… our ducklings have hatched! 🐥💛

The children are going to enjoy seeing the tiny ducklings today as they emerge from their shells. It will be a wonderful opportunity for them to observe the ducklings up close and continue learning about how they grow and develop.

We’re sure they will continue sharing all the excitement with you at home!

After celebrating Oral Health Week, we are delighted to share that we have received a generous donation from a local dentist. This includes age-appropriate toothbrushes, toothpastes, and helpful leaflets for children aged 3 years and over.
Please continue to promote and communicate the importance of good oral hygiene from an early age—healthy habits now lead to healthy smiles for life!
