We were delighted to welcome our local MP, Jodie Gosling to Higham Lane School today. She was keen to witness the excellent learning and teaching at our Ofsted Outstanding school, which also boasts the best GCSE (Progress 8 of +0.59) and A-level (Value Added of +0.24) results in Nuneaton. Along with Claire Warren (Chief Operations Officer) and Carole Davies (Chair of Trustees) she met with students, observed lessons and discussed our fantastic work with the Central England Academy Trust, including the exciting plans for our collaboration with Higham Lane North Academy.

Reminder! Non-Uniform Day 👕👖👟 - Friday 21st March 2025

Raising money for Comic Relief and school funds - donations to be made through ParentPay 🤩 Polite reminder that non-uniform must be appropriate for school. As the weather may be warm, skirts and shorts are of course permitted as long as they are not too short!

For , Year 7 have learnt about adaptations different organisms have for survival. They have used this information and their creativity to make models, drawings and origami to show different organisms and their adaptations! 🐍🐯🐌🐭

Decorate-a-door 2025! 📚

We were so excited to celebrate by running a decorate-a-door competition with year 7 and 8 tutor groups!

We had some fantastic entries! Congratulations to 7H2 for their winning 'The Hunger Games' door 🤩

⭐Special mentions have received 5 house points
⭐Runners up have received 10 house points
⭐Winners received 10 house points and were invited to the Library for donuts!

Year 7 Nuneaton Netball Tournament Champions 🏆

Special shout out also goes to our B and C teams, you played some great netball and never gave up! Higham Netball have won an amazing 4 out of 5 Nuneaton tournaments this year, an amazing achievement. A big thank you to Mrs Mulholland for being such a fantastic coach.
