Higham Lane School is delighted to celebrate another set of fantastic GCSE results, with data strongly indicating that the school’s overall outcomes will once again be significantly above the national average and are likely to place Higham Lane School among the highest-performing schools in Warwickshire.
Michael Gannon, Headteacher said:
“We are absolutely delighted with the GCSE results achieved by our incredible Year 11 students; these results are a testament to the extraordinary hard work, determination and resilience shown by this exceptional year group.
The school is particularly pleased with the number of students securing strong passes in the key subjects of English and Mathematics, with well over four fifths of all students achieving grades 9–4 in GCSE English and also in GCSE Maths. These qualifications will provide students with a strong foundation and open doors to a wide range of future opportunities, including A Levels, further education, apprenticeships and employment.”
For those students who are moving on to college, starting an apprenticeship or entering employment, we wish them every possible success for the future. Wherever their next steps take them, they will always be part of the Higham Lane School family, and we look forward to hearing about their successes in the years ahead.
Congratulations, Year 11! You have done yourselves, your families and your school incredibly proud! ✨
