Online SBS Bible Study for Everyone

Dear wonderful Online SBS staff and students, one of our own students is facing severe trials. Hew newborn little boy suffered a stroke as he was being born. He seems to be doing well right now, but they are testing him to see if he has a rare disease that will show that he will be mentally disabled. Please be praying for this little guy and his parents.

This week's update is a little look at one of our Online SBS students. He is a YWAM base director in South America. He has wanted to study the Bible intensely for about 10 years, but his duties didn't allow him the time to leave and study. He has been so thankful to be able to study the Bible online and he has said that as he has been studying, God has given him the opportunity to put into practice what he has been studying. He said that sometimes it seems that he will be finishing a book of the Bible and then a problem will come up that relates completely with what he has studied.
Another student, a pastor of a church, has said that her Online SBS studies have given her the confidence she was praying for, in her sermons.
Let's keep praying for our wonderful students, they are kind of amazing.

The update of Moodle to Moodle 3.2 happened without too many problems, but sadly it seems some, videos did not make the change. If you find any missing, please let your staff know, and we will get it fix ASAP!

Hi Everyone, just a heads up, Feb 3rd our Moodle study site will be upgraded from to the latest version, Moodle 3.2. This version gets great reviews. The site may be down for a short while.

Good morning friends, we are so privileged to be able to study and teach God's word. This morning I was thinking of all of the sacrifices made by those who came before us, so that we could study the Bible. People like Wyclif, Hus, Tyndale, Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, Knox, etc. who sacrificed all so that the common man could read God's word. Let us not grow faint in our studies, when these men have sacrificed so that we can study. Rock on for Jesus might men and women of God!

Hello dear ones and a happy new year. I want to tell you about a wonderful student who is struggling with early onset of dementia. She is so passionate about studying God's word, and even though she often can't remember all of the steps, she calls her staff and is reminded often of what to do. She is almost finished with the New Testament, and the people that are around her say that the change in her life in the past year and a half of studying the Bible is miraculous. Remember, the Bible is for everyone!

Happy New Year to one and all in the Online SBS world. Wow, life has been busy, and all of the hard working students have been keeping the staff busy grading and giving feedback. I am always overwhelmed by the commitment of our staff and students. You are so dedicated to studying God's word, while still being involved in your daily ministry and life.
