GCSE RESULTS DAY: Still looking for your young person’s next step?

If your young person has received their GCSE results today and hasn’t secured a post-16 place yet, KE6 still has spaces available.

If they have already applied to KE6, you can book an enrolment appointment here:

If they haven’t applied yet, it’s not too late. Apply online at: https://ke6n.ac.uk/apply/

We’ll then contact you with details of when they can come in to enrol.

We currently have spaces across:

A Level subjects
Vocational subjects
Route2– a Level 2 foundation year for students who didn’t achieve the GCSE results they expected and need another route into further study
Sports Academy – giving students the opportunity to develop their sporting ability and represent the College as part of their studies

Important: Students attending enrolment should bring their printed GCSE results with them.

If your young person is still deciding what to do next, there are options available and we will do what we can to support your child in enrolling onto a study program that works for them.

GCSE Results Day doesn’t have to mean the end of your plans.

If your results aren’t quite what you hoped for and you don’t meet the entry requirements for your chosen Level 3 course, Route2 could be your next step.

Route2 is a full-time programme designed to give you a fresh start, build your qualifications and prepare you for Level 3 study.

With a choice of subjects, dedicated support and the opportunity to resit GCSE Maths and/or English where needed, you can keep moving towards your goals.

Still deciding what’s next after A level results?

If you’ve decided you’re not ready to move away to university just yet, you can stay with us or come and join us from another school and gain a higher-level qualification with us.

We’re still accepting applications for:
• Foundation Art & Design – Level 3 & 4
• Esports Production – HNC Level 4
• Mechanical Engineering for England – HNC Level 4

Study for one year, gain valuable higher-level skills and qualifications, and for our HNC courses, progress to Year 2 at Coventry University.

Enrolment: Monday 24th August
Advisory window: 9am–12pm

Heading to university or starting an apprenticeship this September?

You could be eligible for a Henry Bellairs Grant, providing financial support towards the costs of your next step.

If you live in Bedworth, Bulkington, Keresley or Exhall, you may be eligible.

Today we’re celebrating the achievements of the KE6 class of 2026!

From outstanding individual results to strong subject performance, our students have given us plenty to celebrate.

- 10 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate
- Ancient History achieved a 100% pass rate for the second consecutive year
- Over 500 A, A*, Distinction and Distinction* grades were awarded

Our students are now heading on to universities across the UK, 35 students will be continuing their studies at our BfMAT sponsor Coventry University!

17% of our UCAS applicants secured a place at Russell group universities, including 10 to the University of Warwick, 3 to Durham University, 3 to King’s College London and 1 to the University of Cambridge!

Many of our students have secured amazing apprenticeship opportunities in industries such as early years education, accountancy and the police.

A huge well done to all of our students. Today is a reflection of the hard work, commitment and determination you’ve shown throughout your time at KE6, and we’re incredibly proud of what you have achieved.

Ancient History doesn't have to end after GCSE.

At KE6, you can continue exploring the people, politics and civilisations that shaped our world.

30% of our current Year 13 Ancient History students hold offers for Classics or related subjects at Russell Group universities, and our current class includes students from more than 15 schools across Coventry, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.

If you're fascinated by the ancient world and still deciding your next steps, there's still time to apply for September 2026.

A reminder to parents and carers of students who have applied to join KE6 in September 2026.

A link to book your young person's enrolment appointment has now been sent to the student's email address, as well as to the two contacts listed on their application.

To give them the best chance of securing their chosen subjects, we recommend booking their enrolment appointment as soon as possible.

Please book the appointment using the student's name so we can check them in quickly on the day.
