Our 17th annual Edinburgh trip has been another incredible success, from capturing stunning views atop Calton Hill and exploring the National Portrait Gallery, to watching a film together on the big screen and soaking up the city's vibrant arts scene.
Our film, media and photography students found inspiration around every corner, grew in confidence and came home buzzing with creativity.
Edinburgh, you never disappoint. Until next year!

Fascinated by ancient civilisations, powerful leaders, and epic conflicts?
Ancient History explores the worlds of Ancient Greece and Rome, from the warriors of Sparta and the Persian Wars to the rise of the Roman Empire and the conquest of Britain. You'll study famous figures such as Augustus, Nero, and Boudicca while investigating how ancient societies were governed, fought, and changed over time.
Unlike many history courses, you'll examine original source material written by ancient historians and writers, developing valuable research, analysis, and evaluation skills. You'll learn how historians use evidence to understand the past and build arguments about key events and individuals.
Apply now for September 2026.

At KE6, we support our students in progressing onto any pathway after leaving us. Sometimes students aren’t certain about their next step or feel they need extra time to make big decisions, such as applying to university.
With our HE@KE6 route, you can study a one-year qualification with us, equivalent to the first year of university. Gain an extra qualification, then move on to the second year of university or enter the world of work with the skills and qualifications you’ve gained with us.
Whatever avenue you choose, we’re here to guide you.
