As we look forward to tomorrow's enrolment it is lovely to look back at some of the fantastic events and opportunities from last term alone! Here are just a few of the many highlights, including the Skydive (which raised over £2200 for charity), Law and Criminology trip to Birmingham, Wakeathon, Sports Day and the Year 13 farewell event and awards ceremony.

There are so many opportunities available to our students at Higham Lane Sixth Form. We look forward to welcoming our new cohort of Year 12s to enrolment tomorrow and Friday.

We are delighted to be celebrating our best ever set of A Level results, with a phenomenal 36.3% of grades at A or A* and 62% at A*-B.

We are so proud of all our Year 13 students and we wish them all every success in their future pathways.

A-LEVEL RESULTS DAY ✨

Higham Lane Sixth Form students became the first in the county to receive a bespoke road safety session to address ‘Garage Anxiety', supporting them to build their confidence as future motorists.

We are delighted to have raised over £1400 for charity from our annual Wakeathon last week - well done to the over 70 students who stayed awake at Sixth Form all night! An even bigger well done to the staff who managed it too!

Activities ranged from sports and inflatables to artwork and karaoke.

We had a brilliant Post 18 Conference last week for Year 12. We started the week with a trip to the UCAS Discovery Event at the NEC followed by 2 days of workshops relating to Post 18 destinations including University, Apprenticeships and Employment. On Friday we were delighted to be invited to be the first school in Warwickshire to host a Garage Anxiety event, where students learnt important skills relating to driving such as how to check their tyres are legal and also what to do after an accident. These types of weeks are an important part of our Personal Development curriculum as we prepare our students for their future lives.
