Today we have had an amazing visit from the police officers.
The children have been in the car and van turning the sirens on and exploring the different features, they looked at the uniforms and had a go on the walkie talkies and asked lots of questions.
we made our own police area/station using the helmets, police cars, ambulances, fire engines, helicopters etc
Thank you to one of our parents for organising it, the children have loved it

We have been exploring sizes, colours and weights using the scales. The children did a great job discovering which side was the heaviest and the lightest, which side had more and less, we worked together to find the colours, animals, shapes etc

We have had lots of birthdays this week and the children have shown fantastic sharing skills and worked together to make their own birthday cakes using different shapes blocks
