We’re incredibly proud of our Year 9 pupils who recently stepped forward to apply for the Junior Leadership Team, completing applications and interviews with confidence, maturity and real commitment. Our Year 10 pupils have also been applying for the roles of Junior Head of School and House. The standard was exceptionally high this year, reflecting the ambition and character across the year group
Well done to everyone who put themselves forward, and a huge congratulations to those appointed, we can’t wait to see the positive difference you’ll make in our school community.
A reminder that pupils are permitted to wear their PE kit or full uniform without blazer today, due to the predicted temperatures.☀️

A big thank you to the University of Leicester for delivering an inspiring assembly to our Year 10 pupils about university courses and student lifestyle opportunities.
It was fantastic to encourage our pupils to think one step ahead and better understand how the choices they make post-16 can shape their future pathways and aspirations.

Our Year 10 RE pupils recently visited Birmingham Crown Court as part of their course studies, gaining a first-hand insight into the justice system and the wide range of careers within it.
Pupils described the experience as “very interesting” and said it had given them “an insight into the justice system and careers they could possibly choose.”
An engaging and memorable trip that helped bring their classroom learning to life.
