I started learning German after numerous trips to the country, watching football and spending time with friends. Before starting lessons with Sue, I had only learnt the basic greetings which somewhat limited the trips. I’ve now been learning German for over 3 years and can confidently speak with the locals and embed myself into most conversations in a stadium or pub where I’ve met some fantastic people and spent much more time experiencing things I otherwise would not have.

The lessons have significantly built on my vocabulary and overall ability to have a conversation in public confidently – whether this be in Nord Rhein Westphalia or in the middle of Bierkönig in the German side of Mallorca!"

There are so many reasons to love la vie en France. The tranquility, the friendliness of the people, the beautiful food 🇫🇷
Today a 3 course lunch for €14,90, all homemade and a choice of desserts that rivals the local patisserie!!! Oh là là 😲

Réflexion du lundi matin

🐸🥛 Deux grenouilles tombent dans un pot rempli de lait.

La première regarde autour d'elle, voit les parois lisses et comprend qu'elle ne pourra pas sortir. Convaincue que tout est perdu, elle abandonne rapidement et finit par se noyer.

La seconde refuse de renoncer. Malgré la fatigue, elle continue de battre des pattes encore et encore. Les heures passent. Elle ne voit aucune amélioration, aucun résultat. Pourtant, elle persévère.

À force de remuer le lait, celui-ci finit par se transformer en beurre. La grenouille prend alors appui sur cette masse solide et saute hors du pot.

La morale : on ne voit pas toujours immédiatement les effets de nos efforts. Parfois, ce sont précisément les actions qui semblent inutiles sur le moment qui finissent par créer les conditions de notre réussite.

Tant que tu n'abandonnes pas, la situation peut encore changer.
