Barefoot yoga in the park has become the children’s new favourite thing!! Everytime we’ve been down they ask🤩 shoes in a pile and toes in the grass✨

Waiting list!
We get a fair few messages a week!
Asking for spaces for little ones, unfortunately we are full until children head to preschool or school
However we’re hoping to expand in the new year and things can change- so if you’re in need of a space here is our waiting list

Do you only feel in control and safe when your child is by your side or in your hand?
This isn’t control, this is physical intervention- because your child won’t feel safe to explore and be their individual self.
They test your limits and dodge your hand, because children need boundaries to feel safe.
Ways I ensure I can keep my children safe is through boundaries.
Such as 1, 2, 3 back to me, and the child follows through and comes back. This should be introduced in safe environments- home or garden.
Very similarly I have “Hand” as soon as I shout this the children know to find my hand.
This is great for roads, or hazards (dogs, people, bikes, ponds etc)
Also my body language and ability to trust the children to make safe choices for their body, allows them to take autonomy over themselves. (I often hear them say “wait at the gate” or “I can see Emily” or “stop! so and so is coming too”)
My approach in my practice is “If I believe they can, they will”

Conner trees are coming to life! We explore the park and noticed small spiky balls on the floor🍃🌳 me and the children adore learning about the nature and its changes around us✨
