Motivated Monday!

Students have hit the ground running this week, fully immersed in their learning! From investigating acids and alkalis in Science to creating delicious pasta bakes in Food Technology, before finishing the day with Athletics and some World Cup catch-up before school, HLNA North Stars have certainly made every moment matter today—and every day at HLNA. We are extremely impressed by the high levels of enthusiasm and engagement our North Stars show. For example over 40 students turned up for athletics tonight. What will Tuesday bring? #1%club

Finishing the week with a bang!

Yesterday over 90 of our North Stars had a wonderful time visiting the Big Bang Science fair at the NEC. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity to experience science, technology, engineering and maths in action. Students explored a wide range of interactive exhibits and stalls, where they could engage with hands-on experiments, discover emerging technologies such as robotics and renewable energy, and learn about real-world applications of STEM careers. They also benefited from expert-led talks on the Lecture Stage with some students even getting to hold some slippery characters like a snake and gecko.
