Milby Nursery & Kids' Club

Last week, Holiday Club continued to celebrate the Olympics by exploring China!! 🇨🇳👍💜
They enjoyed many different activities including mask painting, Chinese Dragon Dancing, practicing writing Chinese letters, Chinese Restaurant role play, looking at pictures of the Great Wall of China, trying some yummy Chinese food aswell as decorating biscuits, having a movie afternoon and putting on a talent show 👍

Next week is: Greece 🇬🇷

Across Nursery and Kids Club the Children enjoyed a very special treat yesterday……Helen made an afternoon tea!
They enjoyed sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, little donuts and homemade fairy cakes 🫖💜🍓🧁

In Holiday Club last week the children celebrated France!! 🇫🇷😃💜

They joined in with many french themed activities including making croissants, making the Eiffel Tower, rice flag play, red/white/blue fruit kebabs, snail painting, boules, bakery role play and completed a french quiz!!

They also enjoyed the lovely weather by having a water fight!! 💜👍

Over the summer holidays, to celebrate the Olympics, lots of fun activities have been planned for the children to learn about the different countries taking part!!
This week the country is *ITALY* 🇮🇹

The children have been joining in making hama beads, pasta play, crafts, making pizzas, wordsearches, Italian bingo/drawing competition and had an icecream parlour!!! 🎉💜🍦✍️🍝🍕

Everyone at MNKC, would like to say a big GOOD LUCK to our current year 6’s who are moving on to new Schools in September!!

You are all amazing and will smash whatever comes your way in the next chapter of your adventure! 💜🌟🎉

Last thursday, Red Room children celebrated their fantastic year with a party! 💜🎉
The weather was sunny and they had so much fun in the water/sand trays, making bracelets, getting glitter tattoos, playing with the parachute, drinking mocktails, at the bubble station, doing the limbo and dancing with DJ Betty!!

Everyone at Milby is so proud of all of them and wish the very best for them as they move on to their new Schools 💜🎉🌈☀️

This week in Red and Yellow Room….💜

Red Room had lots of fun last week in the playdough area, doing self portraits and role playing teachers! ❤️👍

The children in Yellow Room got in the football spirit last week, wearing football shirts, playing football outside and having a red and white treat snack of strawberries and greek yogurt! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️💛🍓

The children were so busy in Nursery last week with lots more fun planned for next week ❤️😃💛

Following on from an activity last week where the children in Yellow Room were exploring vegetables, this week they chopped up some vegetables to make some soup!!

When it was ready and cooled down, they sat down together to try some! 🥣💛👍
