Meerkats class traded the classroom for the great outdoors (and indoors!) as they took part in an adventurous activity day at Creation.
The day was split into two brilliant challenges:
Learners challenged themselves to reach new heights on the rock-climbing walls, learning how to trust their footing and push past their fears.
The learners put on their helmets to explore hidden passages during a fascinating caving session, working together to find their way through.
It was fantastic to see the children developing vital life skills like communication, problem solving, and mutual support. Well done to our amazing Meerkats!

There were a lot of very happy staff around the school last week, all thanks to Zebras Class!
In German, the learners have been learning how to write phrases of appreciation. To put their new skills into practice, they made lovely kindness cards for different members of staff to spread a bit of joy around the school.
The best part was definitely the delivery. The classroom was full of teamwork as everyone helped each other translate their messages, and the learners were so proud to walk around the school handing them out. They absolutely loved telling the staff exactly what theyโd written in German!
Well done, Zebras. You brought a lot of smiles to the school!

Over the past few weeks, learners have been developing their music-reading skills by learning to recognise notes on the stave and understand musical notation. Through regular practice and determination, they have grown in confidence, becoming quicker and more accurate at identifying notes and applying their knowledge during lessons.
It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they take on new musical challenges, build their skills, and celebrate their achievements along the way. We are incredibly proud of the progress they are making.
We look forward to supporting them as they continue their musical journey

A huge thank you to all of our parents and carers who joined us for our Year 11 Leavers' Assembly yesterday morning.
It was a wonderful celebration of an incredible group of young people. We are immensely proud of everything our Year 11 learners have achieved. from the progress they have made and the confidence they have developed, to the friendships they have built and the positive impact they have had on our school community.
As they take their next exciting steps into Post-16 education, college and new opportunities, we wish each and every one of them every success for the future. We know they will continue to achieve great things, and they will always remain a valued part of the ALP family.
Congratulations, Year 11! We are so proud of you all.
