๐๐ค Weโre bringing LEGO Robotics to Little Foxes! ๐
Weโre running a special one-off LEGO Robotics Workshop at Little Foxes Family Cafรฉ for children who would love to get a taste of what Ignite Clubs is all about โจ
Children will build, code, and bring their own summer theme park rides to life using motors, sensors, lights, and beginner-friendly coding ๐กโ๏ธ๐ก
A brilliant introduction to robotics, creativity, and STEM learning in a fun hands-on session!

๐ฎโก๏ธ Creating retro arcade games with Micro:bit 2.0 at Ignite Clubs! ๐ค๐ป
Our students write and test their own code on computers before downloading it onto Micro:bit controllers where they can play the games theyโve created ๐
Along the way, they learn key computing and design skills including:
๐น๏ธ Creating characters, backgrounds, and storylines
๐ฏ Programming scores, lives, and levels
๐ง Using logic, sequencing, variables, and problem-solving
โ๏ธ Testing, debugging, and improving their games
A brilliant hands-on way to develop creativity, computational thinking, and real coding skills in line with the computing curriculum โจ
๐ฌโจ From idea โก๏ธ build โก๏ธ code โก๏ธ test ๐ค
This highlights clip shows what happens inside Ignite Clubs โ hands-on robotics, creative builds, and real problem-solving in action ๐กโ๏ธ
Every session is full of energy, teamwork, and students bringing their ideas to life using coding and LEGO robotics ๐

๐๐ค This week at Ignite Clubs, our students became eco-engineers!
They designed and built their own litter-picking robots, using motors and clever mechanisms to grab and collect waste ๐๏ธโ๏ธ
Through hands-on building and coding, they explored problem-solving, design thinking, and how robotics can help protect our planet ๐ฑ๐ก
STEM with purpose. Creativity with impact. ๐
โ๏ธ๐
This week at Ignite Clubs, weโve been celebrating the Winter Olympics! ๐คโจ
Students designed their own bots to compete in events like ice skating, slalom skiing, and curling โธ๏ธ๐ฟ๐ฅ
They programmed movement using different speeds, precise turns, and controlled actions โ learning how accuracy and timing make all the difference ๐ปโ๏ธ
Each challenge required careful planning, testing, and problem-solving ๐ง ๐
STEM competition at its best!
โ๏ธ๐ค This week at Ignite Clubs, our students designed their own snowball launchers and ten-pin bowling machines! ๐ณ
Using motors as the heart of each build, they explored force โ learning how to roll, throw, and launch with control ๐ชโ๏ธ
Some students levelled up by counting scores using variables ๐, while others used repeat loops to automatically reload their machines ๐๐
Hands-on STEM, creative thinking, and loads of fun! โจ
โณ๏ธ๐ค This week at Ignite Clubs, we explored forces as our science topic!
Our students designed and built their own adventure golf courses, programming motors while thinking carefully about the force needed to get a hole-in-one ๐ชโ๏ธ
Some students went a step further and programmed their colour sensors to detect when a goal had been scored ๐ฏ๐ โ bringing coding, robotics, and science together in one brilliant challenge and turning these concepts into real, working systems!
Learning by building ๐โจ
โจ Robotics & Coding in 2026 starts here! ๐
At Ignite Clubs, children start where theyโre comfortable and progress step by step โ from visual coding ๐งฉ to block-based logic ๐งฑ and all the way to real Python programming ๐ฑ
โจ Join us in 2026 and be part of the next generation of builders, designers, and programmers!

๐คโ๏ธ New term, new robot missions!
This term at our junior robotics and coding club, we'll start by building and programming robots for winter-themed challenges, before moving on to explore how robots can create art and music ๐จ๐ถ
Children will use motors, sensors and sound inputs, experimenting with speed, angles and commands to see how small changes create different outcomes. Coding will focus on events, loops and variables through short, hands-on sequences. From beginners through to python.
๐ Perfect for curious builders, problem-solvers and young coders of all levels.
Spaces for our Beeston Wednesday and Saturday club are now open for booking :https://www.igniteclubs.co.uk/clubs/beeston
