MODEL PROCEDURES

Please note our appointments are based on a “first come, first served basis”. Please take this into consideration when booking your appointments. Due to student sickness, or transport problems etc. it may be necessary for your appointment to be cancelled at short notice, and re-booked for an agreeable convenient time. As our students are training you should allow yourself plenty

of time for your Appointment and not specify a time in which you need to be completed by. We do keep computer records of services carried out in the training school. We ask you not to request a particular colour or perm lotion during your consultation with the student. This defeats the object of them “working it out for themselves”. The tutor in charge will confirm client requirements before your service commences. Please remember you are there for the trainee’s benefit! Wherever possible, we require ONE WEEK’S notice for cancelling appointments. If you are later than 15 minutes for an appointment, it may not be possible to
accommodate you and another appointment will be made. Due to the time required and nature of the training, it is not possible for any other person to accompany models, i.e. children, friends, partners etc. If we are unable to give you an appointment right away, your name will be placed on a waiting list to be contacted as soon as we have an opening for your particular requirements. If you are having colour applied to the scalp for the first time, you will need to be
given a skin sensitivity test 48 hours prior to your appointment and every 3 months. All our students are under continual supervision and our models receive
the highest standard of care and attention, however we are not able to be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage caused during or resulting from our training sessions. Anyone who is already a client at a KH Hair Salon will not be able to book an
appointment at the training school. Finally, due to trainee progression throughout the NVQ, services may not
always be available. We can then only recommend that you contact your nearest
KH Hair salon regarding their training sessions. When booking your next appointment, please wait until you have finished your
service and then ask the trainee when payment if taken.
