๐โจ Whatโs important to us? โจ๐
We place great importance on creating a calm, nurturing learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn ๐
With thoughtful touches like soft rugs, cosy corners, books, and teddies, our spaces are designed to inspire a love of reading and spark little imaginations ๐๐
These comforting environments help children feel secure, giving them the confidence to explore, discover, and enjoy the magic of stories โจ
Weโd love to knowโฆ what books will your children be enjoying this half-term? ๐

๐โจ Storytime magic โจ๐
Weโve been enjoying the classic tale โThe House That Jack Builtโ, and itโs inspired some truly wonderful creativity in our classrooms ๐
From colourful drawings to imaginative masterpieces, the children have been bringing the story to life in their own special ways. Itโs been so lovely to see their ideas, confidence, and creativity shine ๐
Moments like these remind us how powerful stories can be, sparking imagination, encouraging expression, and creating lots of happy, proud smiles ๐

Classrooms have quickly filled with energy again, with pupils diving into new topics and showing great enthusiasm across all areas of school life. This half-term, weโve been exploring the changing seasons, both in and out of the classroom.

๐ป๐ Safer Internet Day โ Why it matters in school ๐๐ป
The online world is a big part of childrenโs lives, even in their early years. From games and videos to learning platforms, being online brings amazing opportunities, but itโs important children know how to stay safe, kind, and confident too.
Thatโs why we recognise Safer Internet Day, supported nationally by organisations like UK Safer Internet Centre, helping children learn how to use technology in a positive and responsible way.
๐ Why itโs important for school aged children
At this age, children are just beginning to explore the digital world. We focus on helping them:
โจ Understand that not everything online is true
โจ Know they should tell a trusted adult if something worries them
โจ Learn about kindness and respect online
โจ Keep personal information private
Building these habits early helps children grow into safe and sensible digital users.
๐ก How parents can help at home
You play a huge role in keeping children safe online. Simple steps make a big difference:
โ๏ธ Keep devices in shared family spaces
โ๏ธ Talk regularly about what your child is doing online
โ๏ธ Remind them never to share personal details
โ๏ธ Use parental controls where possible
โ๏ธ Encourage them to speak up if something doesnโt feel right
Most importantly... keep conversations open and calm. Children are far more likely to ask for help when they know they wonโt be in trouble ๐ฌ๐
Together, we can help children enjoy the online world safely and confidently.
