๐Ÿ”Žโœจ Whatโ€™s important to us? โœจ๐Ÿ”Ž

We place great importance on creating a calm, nurturing learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn ๐Ÿ’›

With thoughtful touches like soft rugs, cosy corners, books, and teddies, our spaces are designed to inspire a love of reading and spark little imaginations ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŒˆ

These comforting environments help children feel secure, giving them the confidence to explore, discover, and enjoy the magic of stories โœจ

Weโ€™d love to knowโ€ฆ what books will your children be enjoying this half-term? ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ“šโœจ Storytime magic โœจ๐Ÿ“š

Weโ€™ve been enjoying the classic tale โ€œThe House That Jack Builtโ€, and itโ€™s inspired some truly wonderful creativity in our classrooms ๐Ÿ’›

From colourful drawings to imaginative masterpieces, the children have been bringing the story to life in their own special ways. Itโ€™s been so lovely to see their ideas, confidence, and creativity shine ๐ŸŒˆ

Moments like these remind us how powerful stories can be, sparking imagination, encouraging expression, and creating lots of happy, proud smiles ๐Ÿ˜Š

Reflecting on April ๐ŸŒธ

April has been a busy and exciting month in school! After a well-earned half-term break for both pupils and staff, itโ€™s been wonderful to welcome everyone back, refreshed and ready to learn. Well done to all our students for settling back in so brilliantly, keep up the great work!

Classrooms have quickly filled with energy again, with pupils diving into new topics and showing great enthusiasm across all areas of school life. This half-term, weโ€™ve been exploring the changing seasons, both in and out of the classroom.

Swipe to see the fabulous artwork created by our pupils, demonstrating how the seasons are changing after reading the book 'Seasons' ๐Ÿ“™๐Ÿ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ‘‰

๐Ÿ’ป๐ŸŒ Safer Internet Day โ€“ Why it matters in school ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ป

The online world is a big part of childrenโ€™s lives, even in their early years. From games and videos to learning platforms, being online brings amazing opportunities, but itโ€™s important children know how to stay safe, kind, and confident too.

Thatโ€™s why we recognise Safer Internet Day, supported nationally by organisations like UK Safer Internet Centre, helping children learn how to use technology in a positive and responsible way.

๐Ÿ’› Why itโ€™s important for school aged children

At this age, children are just beginning to explore the digital world. We focus on helping them:
โœจ Understand that not everything online is true
โœจ Know they should tell a trusted adult if something worries them
โœจ Learn about kindness and respect online
โœจ Keep personal information private

Building these habits early helps children grow into safe and sensible digital users.

๐Ÿก How parents can help at home

You play a huge role in keeping children safe online. Simple steps make a big difference:

โœ”๏ธ Keep devices in shared family spaces
โœ”๏ธ Talk regularly about what your child is doing online
โœ”๏ธ Remind them never to share personal details
โœ”๏ธ Use parental controls where possible
โœ”๏ธ Encourage them to speak up if something doesnโ€™t feel right

Most importantly... keep conversations open and calm. Children are far more likely to ask for help when they know they wonโ€™t be in trouble ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ’›

Together, we can help children enjoy the online world safely and confidently.
