A new school library cabin installed ready for the new academic year! 🛠️

St Lawrence CofE Primary School in Telford approached us to design and build them a library cabin after seeing one of the reading retreat cabins we had previously installed for another school.

They loved the idea of creating a separate space for reading and wanted their own library for their pupils. The result is an exciting, dedicated library space, ready for pupils to enjoy throughout the new academic year and many years beyond! 📚

A big thank you to New Lubbesthorpe Primary Academy in Leicester for their fantastic feedback following the installation of their new learning space.

We installed two connected 17m² cabins, creating a large, flexible space that can support a range of activities and pupil needs. Part of the space will also be fitted out by our partners at Sensory Technology as a dedicated sensory area.

We're looking forward to seeing how the school makes the most of this new multifunctional learning and support space! 🌈

📚 Take reading outside with a school library cabin 📚

A school library doesn't have to be inside the main building. A dedicated library cabin can create a welcoming space for reading, quiet study and discovering new books, while making use of space elsewhere around the school grounds.

Here are just a few of the outdoor library spaces we've created for schools, including libraries at Acre Heads Primary School, Morven Park School and Donington Cowley Endowed School.

From standalone cabins in the playground to spaces tucked into the school grounds, each library has been designed around the needs of the pupils who use it.

We’re pleased to have just returned back to Somerset Progressive School for a third time, having first worked with the school in 2023, then again in 2024, and now in 2026.

As the school’s needs have evolved, so has its need for additional space and capacity. This latest outdoor classroom gives the school another dedicated space to support its pupils and growing requirements.
