A new pupil who has recently joined our provision, had their first taste of angling 🎣

Grateful for our mentors who take the time to engage our pupils in meaningful new experiences that push them out of their comfort zone and ultimately supporting their growth in skills and confidence 😀

The Summer term is in full swing and what a fantastic week it’s been for us at the Ace Academy!

👉 our tutors have started delivering our new English and Maths curriculum and our pupils have shown determination working at a more challenging level 💪
👉 in Personal Development we’ve been focusing on the study skills, attitudes and behaviours needed for next steps at college and post-16 🧠
👉 our Therapeutic mentors took to hiking in their Outreach sessions, taking full advantage of the ☀️

The sun has been shining and what better way to enjoy it than a day out at the local footie! It was a pleasure to take our pupils to watch promotion prospects work their magic ⚽️

It was a thrilling game with Notts County taking the win at 3-1 and a great end of term reward for our pupils 😁

School may be out but The Ace Academy continues to support pupils throughout the holidays. Today we’re out fishing, taking in the crisp fresh air and hoping to catch some decent 🎣

The great thing about angling is that it’s good in any weather and the outdoors is the perfect environment to relax, connect and reflect 🧠

Many young people are lacking motivation and hope for their future. The space between where they are now and the possibility of where they could be, sometimes feels so great, it can be difficult to visualise.

At the Ace Academy we remove that space by placing our young people in environments that take them out of their comfort zone, raise their aspirations and show them that anything is possible!
