Hi everyone, after over 10 years of delivering dance classes under the ABC Dance School name, we are now changing our business to Brazilian Cultural Centre CIC, we are now a more community focused company.

But we are still offering all our usual services, dance classes, studio hire and much more. Please give our new page a like and carry on following us.

Brazilian Cultural Centre Experience Brazil in Nottingham

Hi guys!
There's a new maracatu group forming in Nottingham, initially meeting on Friday evenings, 6.30-8 at ABC dance studio, on Sneinton Market avenues.
Maracatu is an Afro-Brazilian artform from Pernambuco in Northeastern Brazil. It involves drumming, dancing, singing, costumes, and parading! We're focused on the drumming, but aim to work closely with our maracatu dance group.

Classes for 2019:
- Thursdays: Bellydance 7.30 - 9pm, £11 drop in or pay cheaper on a monthly deal. Open level
- Wednesdays: Samba and Maracatu 7.30 - 8.30pm, £8 drop in or pay cheaper on a monthly deal. Open level

Hi everyone, due to illnesses and other reasons I have 3 places for our carnival troupe in the Maracatu session Carnival is on the 12 August and we still have 2 more practices. Does anyone want to join last minute???

Another fantastic bit of news for ABC Dance School as we are once again and very proudly been awarded Arts Council England funding for our 2018 carnival project, Brazilian AfroFuturismo. We will be bringing over a master dancer from Brazil, Adelmo Andrade, who will be training us and delivering workshops in Nottingham for Dance4 and Liverpool, for Brazilica. More details to follow. But we are extremely proud and excited to be trusted and recognised as a Carnival Art school.
