Nottingham U3A offers educational and social activities for people who are retired or semi-retired.

Nottingham U3A is based at the International Community Centre on Mansfield Road, and has around 25 Interest Groups offering social and educational activities including language learning, IT skills, music appreciation and performance, art, discussions and talks, all run by members on a voluntary basis. We’re looking for adults (18+) with mobility-related access needs to try accessible digital cave tours and share feedback in a 60-minute research session. We are looking for volunteers to take part in a research study exploring footwear habits and opinions on minimal shoes and insoles.

Once again the Festival in the Park has been organised by Leslye Henstock, on behalf of the North Notts Neighbourhood Group, who have put a tremendous amount of work putting this event together.

We hope you will come and support us. There will be music, games, laughter and fun. Refreshments available on site or please bring your own picnic.

Our 2026 u3a Notts Network Workshop, for both members and committee members, will be held on Monday 1st June at the Newstead Community Centre, and will focus on “Keeping Interest Groups Vibrant - Looking to the Future”, but after the mid-session break there will also breakout groups relating to Interest Groups, Trips and Visits, and also Website Managers.

Entry to the event costs £5 cash on the day.

Subscriptions for 2026-2027 are due in April. Members have been emailed a renewal form, and you can also renew online, or by bank transfer.

There is no lower or upper age limit and you do not have to live within the Nottingham city boundary. Annual membership runs from April to March and the charge for 2026-2027 is £70. The biggest event in the u3a calendar, u3a Festival 26, is open to book now 🎉
