Thank you so much to OT Fundraiser CIC Hucknall who donated crates of fresh fruit & veg to our Love Lisa x school food bank.

Our volunteers delivered these, as well as tinned & packaged goods, washing, cleaning supplies & toiletries to some of our families before half term.

Reception new starters - September 2026

Welcome to all our new families who have been offered a place for their child to join our Reception class in September. We look forward to meeting you all!

🌱 School Garden Update 🌱

It has been a busy half term in our school garden after receiving our wonderful Seeds for Schools donation from Holybeck Garden Centre.
The children have been busy planting dwarf peas, broad beans, onions,pumpkins, calendulas and a variety of sunflower seeds.
This is all in preparation for our exciting “Grow the Tallest ” competition!🌻
Next half term we will be eagerly looking for the first green shoots, before transferring our young plants from the green house outside. The children will be nurturing their plants carefully - with fingers crossed for plenty of growth and lots of measuring!
A huge thank you to Holybeck Garden Centre for their generous donation for our school garden.
Well done to the children involved for their enthusiasm, hard work and excellent behaviour while working in the garden. Also a big thank you to our volunteers Ms Sinclair and Mr Mather for their time, advice and support in the garden. It is very much appreciated 👏🏻

Did you know children do not automatically transfer from nursery to school and priority may not be given for children attending a nursery? You will still need to apply for a school place for your child.

Forces children lead Remembrance service at Hucknall school Pupils at a Hucknall primary school whose parents are in the armed forces, have led a special service for Remembrance Day.

If your child is due to start school in September 2026 please apply through the county council before 15th January.

We are offering appointments to look around our school with the Head teacher or Deputy Head.
We are able to offer morning or afternoon visits on Wednesdays or Thursdays, however we can try to accommodate alternative days if these are not convenient.
