🎉 Walter Halls is on the run – and this time, it’s serious! (Well… as serious as 13.1 miles can get. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️)

This Sunday, Miss Pope, Mr Neal and Mrs Epton are taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for the amazing Little Ted Foundation. They’ve been pounding the pavements for months, dodging rain, blisters and the lure of the sofa – all to get ready for race day.

Now, they just need one more thing: YOU!

Your donation – big or small – will keep their legs moving, spirits high and smiles wide as they conquer the course. Every penny counts and helps them cross the finish line with pride (and maybe still breathing 😉).

OPAL- Final Audit.

Woohoo we SMASHED it with a whopping 99% on our final audit which took place today with our external mentor from OPAL! We’ve been awarded PLATINUM status after such hard work, dedication, resilience and creativity from so many talented people working behind the scenes to make this project amazing. One of the most impactful school improvement projects I’ve been part of with brilliant progress made in just 13 months. Our children’s learning and happiness at school has benefited tremendously through this work.

Huge thanks to our brilliant play team and special thanks to Jo Glover, Adele Clever and Kerrie Chandler who have championed this work and been relentless in making play literacy development a core part of our school!

We keep this accreditation for 2 years whilst we continue to work on and grow OPAL play approaches across our whole curriculum- the fun continues!
