Autumn is my most favourite season with so many exciting things to do!
Pumpkin pie cafe role play, Autumn leaf pegs, Autumn scented jars, Autumn leaf confetti wands, Pumpkin bouquets, baking, clay mosaics, blackberry jam making, pinecone cone bird feeders, conker rolling, confetti fox wands and playdough hedgehogs to name a few....
Looking forward to cosy, candlelit evenings, snuggly jumpers and blankets, thick socks and pumpkin lattes ππͺΎπ
Thought I'd add a few photos for inspiration as I'm no longer childminding but still love to share!
Happy Bank Holiday! π

β€οΈ ππ Love and saying goodbye....
This week, we will be creating memories and sharing the love we have for our friends and family together. We will be saying goodbye to two of my adorable best friends this week, they move onto to new settings as I prepare to close mine. It's been such a privilege to share my home with so many children and families over the years and I hope a few still remember me!
I've been working in childcare for almost 30 years. Throughout these years, I have learned and adapted to changes, found new loves such as Hygge in the Early Years which I achieved an Accredited setting, studied Reggio and Montessori ideas, alongside raising my own two children into hard-working adults.
My new ventures will still be in childcare (so it's not the last you'll see on this page) but I'm looking forward to exciting new things.
Thank you all for following me on my journey and hope I can continue to help others by giving a little inspiration and confidence to try new ideas.

ππWe will be trying a few Chinese foods, creating chinese lanterns and fans and exploring the sensory tray.
πΈπΈThe blossom tree originated in China and flourished in Japan. It represents the delicate, fleeting nature of life, symbolising endurance, courage, perseverance and reliability. We will be creating our own blossom trees using pink finger paint, inspired by KCS Education.πΈπΈ
ππThe pasta has been dyed green for threading to make long, slippery snakes and we will try to roll long snakes out of playdough and decorate them.
Have a lovely week everyone! π
