5* CLIENT REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This family were an absolute joy to work with! A personal highlight for me, aside from the obvious improved sleep, was when they went away for the weekend and were able to enjoy their evenings together while their little girl slept peacefully in her travel cot! ❤️
Improving your little bear’s sleep is as much for you as it is for them. I’d love to help you too!

There are a few different ways you can manage the clock change this weekend, but here’s how we’ll be managing it in our house:

We’ll be doing nothing! We’ll just go with the flow, stick to our usual routine and timings and manage any hiccups IF they occur at the other side.

Honestly, this is mainly because the mum maths for adjusting the bedtime messes with my head a bit. But if going with the flow and the potential early rise on Sunday morning messes with your head, then instead try this:

- Adjust your usual routine on Friday, pushing naps and bedtime back by 30 minutes
- Push everything back another 30 minutes on Saturday

This should ease your little bear in gradually, but if you do find their sleep goes a little off axis, I promise you they’ll soon adjust! Good luck 💤

If your child is anxious about going to school or nursery, you need to try this 👉🏻 Get matching hug buttons! ❤️
I’m not about to claim credit for this idea - I actually first saw this on a trending Facebook post and have since recommended it to numerous families! The idea is simple - draw matching heart ‘hug buttons’ on your hand and your little one’s hand. You then charge these buttons up with love before they go to school - you could hold hands while you walk, or each kiss the button to ‘fill it with love’. While your child is at school, any time they feel sad or anxious, they can rub or kiss the button and draw on some of that love you charged it up with earlier in the day. When you collect them at the end of the day, make sure you tell them you got all their hugs and ask them if they received all your hugs that you were sending throughout the day too!
If you find it’s washing off too quickly on their hand, or if they’d prefer it to be less visible, the button can be placed anywhere that works for you both!

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved working with this lovely mama to help improve her beautiful little girls’ sleep! During the SOS call we focused on the steps to reduce her 18 month old’s dependency on the breast throughout the night and how to support her in napping independently. We also discussed how to support her 3 year old in transitioning to her own bed. Overall, a great success! Not only are the girls sleeping better, but this lovely mama now gets some time to herself in the evenings! 🙌🏻

I’ve been supporting a client this week to gradually wean her little bear off the breast. Our recent conversations have turned to the final feed, and something I’ve suggested to this mama, and would suggest to anyone looking to end breastfeeding, is to plan a ‘farewell feed’. Often when we’re working towards a goal, it can be easy to lose sight of how quickly we achieve it. But with breastfeeding, no matter how ready you feel, I never want any mother to look back and feel like they didn’t take in every second of that final feed. No matter how ready you feel, it’s bound to be an emotional moment. So, if this is you, and your breastfeeding journey is coming to an end:

🤱🏻 Plan that final feed. Pick a date and time when you can sit down and take in every moment just the two of you.

📸 Ask someone to take a photo. For many, having some photos to look back on can be a lovely reminder of the journey you shared with your little bear.

❤️ Don’t be sad. You’ve given your little bear a wonderful start and it’s an achievement you should be incredibly proud of. This is a part of your motherhood journey that you’ll never forget 🫶🏻

If you would like support in night weaning, or you’re looking to continue breastfeeding but need support in achieving better sleep, I’d love to help!
