Well that’s a wrap! Thanks to everyone who donated time, cakes, books, prizes and more to make the summer fair today possible. Time for the volunteer team to sooth their tired feet! A special thanks this year to Emilie Daniel after 12 years of supporting FOM she will be stepping down as chair as her youngest moves on to secondary school and this was her last summer fair of many!

In need of some pampering? Grab some tickets for our raffle at the summer fair tomorrow (Saturday) 12-2pm to be in with a chance to win a £20 voucher for Coco Beach Nail Bar at Crown Island! The preparation has begun setting up this afternoon and we are ready for a busy morning tomorrow pulling everything together. Look forward to seeing everyone at 12 for a fun afternoon. All funds raised are used for extra activities and equipment to benefit all Middleton children.

This has been kindly and generously donated by a Middleton family to draw support for the Smartphone Free Childhood campaign as well as helping raise funds for school. They will also be running a stall on the day with lots more information about the campaign. All proceeds from the Summer Fair will be used to buy extra equipment and activities to benefit all Middleton children. Three days until the weekend and the Summer fair this Saturday 12-2pm in the school grounds! Our raffle prizes are looking like the best yet! Out next thank you goes to Footlights Nottingham who have donated a place for one child at their Summer holiday club. Grab your tickets on Saturday to be in with a chance of winning.

Thank you to Wheelhouse, Wollaton for donating 3 vouchers for 2 main meals with drinks for our Summer Fair raffle. Come along this Saturday 12-2pm in the school grounds to get your tickets - it could be a night off from cooking this weekend!

Our next huge thank you ahead of the summer fair this Saturday 13 June is to Microlise who have donated £100 of gift vouchers redeemable at over 150 top brand retailers. The summer fair is next weekend! Preparations are in full swing! Our first thank you goes to Adventure Cinema who have donated tickets as a prize for our raffle. Look forward to seeing everyone 12-2pm next Saturday 13 June in the school grounds.

Many parents will already be aware of a recently launched campaign and petition regarding improving road safety around Middleton Primary school which was also shared in yesterday’s school newsletter. With the situation as it is and so many parents parking dangerously and driving with little consideration for the safety of pedestrians, the school fully supports any efforts from parents, the local community and councillors to come together with the school to explore options for positive change. This is about the safety of every child that attends Middleton. The link to a petition is here:

The date is set! The summer fair will be on Saturday 13 June 12 - 2pm in the school grounds. Please sign up to help out. We can’t run the fair without volunteers. Running a stall for an hour means you still have time to also spend time with friends and family. If you have a child in Y6 who would like to help run a stall with you they would be very welcome
