After a fantastic weekend, we’re back at Kadampa Meditation Centre this evening for our Drop-in Meditation Class (7:00-8:15pm)
Tonight we’ll be looking at the clarity of the mind — discovering how, beneath the busyness of our thoughts, our mind has a naturally peaceful, clear nature.
Everyone is welcome. No experience needed — just come along and enjoy some time to pause, meditate and reconnect.

Yesterday, Kadampa Meditation Centre Nottingham Sangha were fortunate to receive a wonderful teaching, “Finding Joy in Daily Life”, with Gen Norden, Resident Teacher at KMC Newcastle.
It was a fantastic day filled with inspiration, practical advice and, of course, joy. We are so grateful that Gen Norden made time in her busy schedule to come and spend the day with us.
A very special day — and one we’ll be feeling the benefit of for a while. 💛✨

Gen Norden has arrived for our special course tomorrow! ✨

Jane, our EPC, is giving her a warm Nottingham welcome — starting with one of the city’s finest treats: 200 Degrees coffee ☕️😊

Then we’ll be heading over to the Centre to get ready for tomorrow’s course, Finding Joy in Daily Life.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone — there’s still time to book, and we’d love to see you there 💛🙏

Some of our Nottingham Sangha at this year’s International Kadampa Spring Festival.

We’ve been enjoying incredibly inspiring teachings with Retired General Spiritual Director Gen-la Khyenrab, and are now looking forward to the retreat with Gen-la Sangden, starting tomorrow morning.

A very special time to receive teachings, deepen our experience, and enjoy being part of the international Kadampa family.

Everyone looks very happy and inspired

That’s a wrap for this term!

Thank you to everyone who came along to classes — it’s been lovely sharing these teachings and meditations with you.

We’re now closed for Spring Festival, so there will be no Monday evening class next week and no Midday Meditations until Friday 30th May.

If you’re going to Spring Festival, we’ll see you there! Wishing you a peaceful and happy week. Everyone welcome back soon.

We had a truly wonderful evening at Kadampa Meditation Centre Nottingham as we welcomed our National Spiritual Director, Kadam Bridget Heyes, to teach Stop Overthinking: Silence the Inner Critic.
Kadam Bridget shared profound and practical advice with warmth and clarity, drawing from a teaching given by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 1998 on the importance of developing a good heart.
She also guided a beautiful meditation from Clear Light of Bliss, helping us to experience how we can begin to purify our negative inner winds and enjoy a more peaceful, positive mind.
Everyone left feeling inspired, uplifted and happy — with practical methods to take into daily life.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped make the evening so special.
