Starting your BMedSci this autumn? This session is for you.
One of the most important skills for a successful BMedSci is knowing how to find, filter, and organise the literature that will underpin your project. A strong literature search can save hours of work and help ensure your research is built on the best available evidence.
Join us for the second session of the SCRUBS Journal Club Skills Series, where Ruth Curtis will be delivering a workshop on Literature Searching.
Tuesday 9th June
5:30–6:30 PM
Online
This session is particularly relevant for students who:
* Are beginning their BMedSci project this autumn
* Want to improve their research skills
* Are unsure how to efficiently search databases and source relevant papers
* Are interested in academic medicine and research
This is the second of five skills sessions, and students who attend 3 out of 5 sessions will receive a certificate of participation.
The presentation speciality for June is Anaesthetics, and those who have expressed an interest in presenting will be contacted shortly.
