As well as everything else we did last week, we also went to the Lady Bay Toddler Group summer party. There was a bouncy castle. What more could you want?!

When it comes to resucing dinosaurs that have been trapped in ice, the children found that some tools were more effective than others.

There's been so much going on at pre-school recently!

Last week, Andy came to tell us about being a Community First Responder. Andy is specially trained and may be dispatched to medical emergencies in our local area, as he can get there faster than an ambulance.

He brought in some resuscitation dummies for the children to practice with, but most excitingly, he brought in a First Responder car! No flashing blue lights, but the horn definitely works! We even found a lady bird on the back of it!

We had another fantastic trip to visit our friends at The Nottingham Society Of Model And Experimental Engineers Ltd for a day going round and round and round on the little trains! It was lovely that so many parents were able to join us as well.

Thank you to the brilliant volunteers at NSMEE who opened up just for us - we hope to be back again next year!

The trains run every Sunday and bank holiday Monday in Ruddington, right next door to the main car park at Rushcliffe Country Park - it's definitely worth a visit.

Have you ever wondered how many pre-school children you can get in the back of a police car? The answer is quite a few, but they didn't stay still long enough for us to count them!

Our favourite question this year was: "Do bad guys brush their teeth?".

Thanks to the team at West Bridgford Police for coming to visit us this week - it was great fun, as always!

Sports Day at is always a favourite event in the pre-school calendar. We love to watch our big brothers and sisters compete. And we love our own race even more!

Thank you Mrs Davie and the year 6 children - you made us feel very welcome and made every one of us feel like a winner! 🏆

It's been a busy week!

We started the week with a trip to the Poppy and Pint for the Heron Music Cafe, and we stopped at the park on the way back. It was the last Heron Cafe for many of us, but a lot of us will be back again in the autumn.
