That’s it…Long Eaton Preschool Playgroup is officially closed.
We would like to thank you all, parents and children past and present… over a 1000 children have attended in the past 57 years of Preschool being open.
Many memories have been made that will last a lifetime ❤️

A ‘Good’ rated nursery offering funded and non funded places for 2 -5 year olds.
£8 per session 9am to 12pm. Call in or ring on the number provided �
Long Eaton Playgroup, at the Baptist Church on Station Road, offers free places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. A friendly, skilled team provide loving care and play-led learning for children aged 2 to 5 years from all backgrounds and abilities. The playgroup offers a warm welcome every weekday from 9am until 12pm during school term time. Two year-olds not eligible for funding can come along for just £12.00 per session, all children from the age of 3 receive government funding for 15 hours per week.

Anyone interested in this child’s wardrobe?

We have considered the guidance and we will be open as usual Monday and Tuesday, the children have limited time outdoors and will have a cooler space indoors with plenty of ventilation.
Please ensure children have had suncream applied, have plenty of fluids and a hat and wear loose fitted clothing to keep them cooler.
However, it is parents choice to bring your children or keep them at home 🏠

We are having a party to say farewell to our current pre school leavers and a farewell to preschool!
** This is a private party, invitation only **
As you are all aware, Long Eaton Preschool will permanently close its doors at the end of this term, Thursday 21st July. This will enable us to dismantle all left over equipment and resources on Friday 22nd. Any parent that has put their name on a piece of equipment can collect this on the last week (not the last day)
Most of the other equipment has been sold to other nurseries.
We would like to thank all of the parents over the years and the children who have supported us.

Please can we ask that all children wherever possible have sunscreen applied before Preschool and bring a hat to keep them shaded

Fun picnic outside, celebrating the Queens Jubilee 🧺 🫅
We are having a jubilee party for the children on Wednesday 25th May, please can the children come in red, white or blue and bring small sandwich and a snack and please label the box with your child’s name 👍
