This week we spoke about visualisation.
Learning to see the movement before it happens, exploring different paths and being creative with our jiujitsu. Growth comes from trying, adapting and believing in your ideas on the mats.

Congratulations to the team for all the hard work this weekend at UMAC Nottingham and All Stars BJJ Brighton
Amazing performances across the whole team, with great displays of skill, determination, and team spirit throughout the competitions. Everyone has worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks. For some, this was their first competition experience, while others continued building valuable mat time and confidence under pressure.
Competition is about creating realistic scenarios, testing ourselves, and understanding where we can continue improving our skills.
A special mention for achieving 3rd place 🥉 in the Adult No-Gi Academy division at UMAC with only 3 adults competing. After 2 years of Fortress, it’s great to see the team moving in the right direction through consistency, commitment, and hard work. The results are coming, but more importantly, the progress and development are clear to see.

Ryan, as always, brought nonstop fire and action, securing his favourite submission ,the armbar,to take gold 🥇
Ivy entered last minute for her very first competition. Gi didn’t quite go to plan, but she still secured bronze 🥉. She came back stronger in NoGi, adapted brilliantly, and took gold 🥇. Amazing resilience and mindset, proof that comebacks are stronger than setbacks 💪
Lillie delivered another strong performance, taking gold 🥇 and continuing to build her game ahead of the Euros next weekend. We’re all excited to see her perform!
On the adults side…

Amazing results and jiu-jitsu from everyone involved 🙌
Big thank you to Coach and Lillie for coaching all day, and to all the teammates for the support .
