Better Birth Photography & Doula Services

Most of my days are spent wrangling/homeschooling my kids alongside my husband, Kit. We have six kidlets & my own deliveries were diverse - ranging from hospital-epidural-OB, hospital-natural-nurse caught, stat cesarean at 23 weeks gestation (yep, that's 4 months too early), birth center VBAC with a midwife, HBAC, then a water birth at home with my five older children cheering me on! Each birth ch

anged me in countless ways, and guided me towards becoming a doula. With Kit's encouragement I certified as a doula in 2011 and found at each birth I was the one being handed the camera and asked to snap the first family photo! That prompted me to get more serious about learning to use my camera, and I now offer photography in addition to doula services. It is an honor to be asked to support a family as they welcome their baby into the world. I witness miracles, and I am humbled & blessed by this. In my spare time I love baking, reading, taking pictures of my family, and I dream of someday getting a full night's sleep. Someday. :)
