My name is Kirstie Mackintosh, I am the creator and founder of Little Legs Ltd. I have two gorgeous children Aimee & Daniel, and sadly after having both of them I suffered with post natal depression. There are a number of amazing support groups for PND but for me baby ma

ssage and baby yoga helped me to spend true quality time with my babies as well as helping us to feel better physically and mentally. .They still love both now at the age of 4 and 6. Talking to other mums and dads about the challenges that I faced without feeling judged also showed me that I was not alone in how I felt. I am passionate about supporting parents with post natal depression and other challenges they may face so I decided to complete my Diploma in Baby Massage and Baby Yoga. I wanted to create an environment for parents and babies of pure relaxation, which allows special time with baby as well as a chance to talk about parenthood in a non judgemental way through humour, building friendships and honesty. Unlike most baby massage and yoga courses I wanted Little Legs to be different in the sense that not only do I run my courses in venues, I also come to your home or online through Zoom. My classes give you a chance to invite your new and old mummy friends along to a venue that suits you or to your home, where you're comfortable and don't feel any pressure if baby does not want to play ball! I am a Community First Responder (level 2 first aid trained), I offer Paediatric First Aid Awareness training as part of my courses. I hold the both the Touch Learn International Infant Massage and Baby Yoga Teaching qualifications, full insurance (IPTI), a valid First Aid certificate and DBS check. I can't wait to meet you.

There’s a change coming this September that’s worth knowing about if you’re a parent, childminder or work in childcare.

From September 2026, Ofsted will be looking more closely at how settings are keeping children safe around food, including how they manage allergies and how staff respond to choking and allergic reactions.

And it got us thinking…

When was the last time you refreshed your first aid knowledge?

For parents, it’s knowing what to do if your little one chokes or has a serious allergic reaction.

For those working with children, it’s about feeling confident that you can respond quickly if something happens during a meal.

Because knowing the theory is one thing… being able to remember what to do when you’re faced with a real emergency is another.

It’s not about expecting something to go wrong. It’s about being prepared just in case.

So, be honest…

Could you confidently respond to a choking child today?

If you’re not sure, it might be time for a refresher. Feel free to reach out or tap the link in the bio to visit our website and book a course. 💚

Running Little Legs classes definitely isn’t your typical working day…

There’s singing, dancing, messy hands, big smiles, tiny voices and usually a fair amount of cleaning up afterwards! 😂

But behind all of that are our wonderful practitioners, creating classes where little ones can explore, learn, play and simply enjoy being little.

It might not look like your average day at work, but we wouldn’t change it for the world. 🩷🩵

What would your dream working day look like?

THIS IS CHARLOTTE
You probably already know me as Charlotte, the face behind Little Legs with Charlotte, bringing baby and toddler classes to families across South Nottinghamshire. 👋🏼
You might know me from Zumbini, baby massage, baby yoga, little explorers or one of my messy play sessions.
You might know me as the person covered in paint, dancing around with a shaker, singing nursery rhymes at the top of my voice or encouraging your little one to join in. 😂
But how much do you actually know about me?
Well… here are a few things you might not know! 👇🏼
✨ I’m 41 but still feel like I’m 21!
✨ I’m Mummy to my 3-year-old Oliver.
✨ I’m an Early Years specialist with over 10 years experience working with children and families.
✨ I’m a massive Zumba lover which probably explains why there is always music involved somewhere in my classes! 💃🏼
✨ I’m the middle child (older brother and younger sister)
✨ I grew up in the UAE & later moved back to teach, so Dubai will always have a little piece of my heart. 🇦🇪
✨ I love cooking… and I love spending time with my family even more. ❤️
✨ I’m a big Harry Potter Fan
✨ My favourite film is Forest Gump
✨ I’m a BIG kid at heart. Probably one of the reasons I get just as excited about planning a session as the little ones do exploring them!
✨ I’m a chocoholic 🍫
✨ And perhaps the biggest thing you might not know…
Little Legs isn’t just a business to me.
It’s something I have poured so much of myself into. My experience, my passion for Early Years, my love of music and play, but also my own experiences of becoming a Mum.
I know how precious those early years are. I know that sometimes you come to a class because you want an activity for your little one… but actually what you really need is a friendly face, somewhere you feel comfortable, someone who understands and a little bit of time where you don’t feel like you’re doing this parenting thing alone. 🥹

You are welcome to my classes anytime and would love for you to join my village if you are not already a part of it 🩷🩵

11 years married. 🤍

11 years of you working hard long shifts.
9 years of those spent learning how to be parents.
5 years Ive been building a business.
2 years of me building two businesses.
And 11 years of learning how to be a family.

Marriage isn’t always the big romantic moments. Sometimes it’s surviving the seasons that feel impossibly hard, finding your way back to each other after the arguments, and learning that love can look very different when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed and trying to figure out how the hell to do this life together.

Those early years of having children were HARD. Learning how to become a family while running on broken sleep, navigating new identities, responsibilities, expectations and the kind of tiredness that makes you forget what day it is.

We have had to learn about each other again and again.

I think one of the biggest things I’ve learnt is that you don’t have to arrive at the next chapter at exactly the same time.

We are both growing into this period of our lives. Figuring out who we are now, what we want, what our family looks like, what work life looks like, and who we are outside of being parents.

And it’s okay if you don’t get there straight away.

After 11 years, I’m realising that marriage isn’t about staying the same. It’s about choosing each other through all the versions of yourselves you become along the way.

Happy 11th wedding anniversary, Mr Little Legs with Imogen. 🤍

Eternally grateful for you. Always.
Even when you’re annoying. Even when I’m annoying. Even between 11pm and 5am. 😂🤍

Summer holidays: where you spend six weeks trying to keep everyone entertained, fed and vaguely happy… only to suddenly realise it’s nearly time for school again. 😂

Be honest… are you ready for them to go back or are you not emotionally prepared?
