She was in that room, struggling and not one person looked up.

Lauren went to a breastfeeding group when she was really struggling. Sat there and not one person spoke to her. Not another mum. Not the person running the session. Nobody.

She didn't know how to ask for help and nobody thought to offer it.

You think you're fine and then after years of it all, you just break and Lauren did.

Nobody should have to reach breaking point before they’re supported. Tell someone. It doesn't have to be the right person or the perfect conversation. It just has to be someone 🤍

Finding the Rainbow in the Messy Moments

At Little Legs, we are all about helping you navigate the beautiful journey from pregnancy through to childhood.

Let’s face it, parenting can get a little messy! But when we look closer, the "rainbows" are always there:

🌈 Our Child as our Rainbow:

No matter how exhausting or chaotic the day has been, a single smile or giggle from your little one brings pure light.

They make the messy days worth it. (And for our families cradling a precious "rainbow baby," that light after the storm holds a beauty words can barely describe.)

🌈 Us Parents as our child’s Rainbow:

When our children are facing big, overwhelming emotions or toddler tantrums, the world feels confusing to them.

That is when you become their rainbow. Through your patient, loving presence, you act as their safe harborm bringing the calm they need to feel safe and secure.

Whether you’re joining us for sensory play, yoga, or baby massage, we’re here to help you celebrate the rainbows and embrace the beautiful mess together.

There is a difference between information and expertise and your little one deserves the latter.

In nine years of Little Legs, everything we do has been built on three unbreakable pillars:

1. Deeply Qualified Expertise
We are internationally accredited, not because we ticked a box, but because we are obsessed with the high resolution details of safety, development and care. We don't dabble. We live this.

2. Nine Years of Feedback
Every family we've worked with has shaped what we do. We listen, we refine, we improve. Little Legs is a living system and it grows because you do.

3. Lived Experience as Our Compass
Qualifications matter enormously to us. But so does knowing exactly what that heavy, disorienting fog of early parenthood actually feels like. Every member of our team has walked this path. We don't just teach it, we've lived it.

When you come to Little Legs, you're not getting quick tips or someone's opinion dressed up as fact. You're getting a team who have done the hard work, the research and the heavy lifting, so that you can simply show up, feel safe and be present with your child.

That's the Little Legs standard and we don't compromise on it. 🩵🩷

Motherhood, Burnout & Finding Yourself Again | Lauren’s Honest Story - Is now live! 🎙️

Lauren talks in this episode about how her friends were amazing, they really were but until you are actually in motherhood you cannot understand the intensity of it.

The way it changes everything. The way your whole sense of self shifts overnight.

You don't know how you're going to be as a mum until you're in it and that's ok.

What's something you swore you'd never do that you do every single day now?

Four days of silence. That’s how Lauren’s journey into motherhood began.

She found out she was pregnant and her partner didn’t speak to her for four days and in that silence she had to sit with the biggest decision of her life feeling emotionally alone.

Lauren carried that feeling for years after Ethan was born. That because it was her decision, she just had to hold everything together herself. The feeding, the nights, the mental load, the pressure of trying to cope when she didn’t feel supported.

I think a lot of women are going to hear this and quietly recognise something in themselves. The ones who just got on with it because it felt like the only option they had.

Nobody should have to carry motherhood feeling emotionally alone.

Nine years ago, I didn’t just start a business. I began a journey to create a world that felt safe, soft and clear again.

When I became a mother, the shift was more than just emotional, it felt like the world had suddenly turned up the volume. The noise felt sharper, the "advice" was overwhelming, and the "village" I expected to find felt more like a blur than a helping hand.

People called it Postnatal Depression, but for me, it was a deep, quiet craving for a sanctuary, a place where I could breathe, connect and finally feel at home in my new life.

I realised that if I couldn't find that world, I would have to build it. Little Legs became my heart’s blueprint.

I’ve spent the last nine years obsessed with the beautiful details of early parenthood. I didn’t want to just provide "classes"; I wanted to create a gentle, loving rhythm that takes the pressure off every parent who walks through our doors:

🩵 Communication from the Heart: Using Baby Sign Language to replace the "guessing game" of crying with a clear, visual language of love. It’s about truly hearing what your baby has to say.

🩷 A Rhythmic Anchor: Designing Yoga and movement that feel like a warm hug for the nervous system, predictable, grounding and peaceful.

🩵 Excellence You Can Trust: Doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes so that our lessons are simple, accredited, and easy for you to enjoy. I’ve refined the details so you can focus entirely on your baby.

To me, a "village" is more than just a group of people; it’s a bridge that holds you steady when you feel unsure. It’s a soft place to land.

Today, Little Legs is a global community, but our heart is still focused on that one quiet moment of connection between you and your child.

It is a world built for those who need more than just "tips", it is for those who need clarity, calm, and a place where the "noise" of the outside world finally fades away.

Thank you for being part of our village. We are still growing and our doors are always open for 🩵🩷
